Sadly, we are no longer open to the public and have discontinued our lesson and event programs. Rachel, our daughter, and the head trainer, has moved in with her fiancé and it was time for our family to downsize.
We want to thank each and every single family that trusted us over the years to teach their loved ones. We will miss you all dearly and hope that your horse journey doesn't end with us.

Welcome to the North Gait Community! We are a family owned facility. North Gait specializes in overall horsemanship training. Lessons are tailored according to each rider's age, experience level, and desired results. Student develop skills beyond being in the saddle. All riders groom, tack, and perform basic animal husbandry. North Gait is all about building relationships between our students and our horses. Our North Gait students both, young and old, tell us that learning how to be in the equine world has made them more aware of their interactions with humans in the 'outside' world.
